Our Story

Our dinnerware was clean but smelled chemically unpleasant after hand washing them, and our hands took forever to heal from cracking and bleeding by using the commercially made, plastic bottled dish detergent. All these reasons have motivated us to search for as natural as possible, but good ingredients for this dish soap bar.

We only want to design solid dish soap bars to reduce plastic bottles, Ta Dah!! That's how VanSoap was born, the name after the city we live in and love.

A locally owned small business in Vancouver BC, was born in early 2020 by the Choi family.

How to Use

  • Plastic Free or less packaging used and replace up to 2-3 bottles of liquid dish soap

  • Non of the ingredients contribute to water pollution or are harmful to ANY living creature inside water 
  • Environmentally friendly, non toxic, sudsy and easy to use 
  • Each dish soap bar is naturally cured, the full time of 6 weeks for milder, harder and longer lasting bar 
  • Jojoba oil - softening & moisturizing properties, which is also extremely shelf stable and resistant to rancidity
  • Neem oil - anti-bacterial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties is also rich in fatty acid
